What We Do
NCZ wants to make North Camden a great place to grow up for every child. We work in a place-based way to 'change the system', supporting individuals and organisations to work more collaboratively, effectively and strategically to make sure that no child is left behind.
How It Works
NCZ is a place-based systems change initiative tackling the effects of child poverty in North Camden. Place-based systems change aims to engage both with the visible challenges and the underlying infrastructure that brings about certain outcomes for children and young people, seeking change at both levels.
North Camden Zone seeks to act as a 'platform organisation': supporting citizens, organisations, private enterprise and statutory services to recognise their place in the system, develop a deeper understanding of what impacts on the lives of children and young people and enable the community to develop new responses to bring about change.
Our Partners
NCZ works with local people and with the best local, regional and national charities, statutory services and networks to better support children and young people in North Camden, working towards values and goals that are collectively developed and defined.
In time, working with North Camden Zone will mean ensuring that efforts are contributing to better outcomes, pooling resources to tackle challenges, reducing duplication, understanding the wider system and accessing better data, monitoring and impact measurement insights.
Our Results
NCZ uses data, evidence and learning to make sure it is being successful. We involve children, young people and parents alongside local people and professionals in defining needs, designing solutions and monitoring progress.
